Masashi Otake (Co-Founder)
- Masashi Otake is responsible mainly for corporate strategic planning and client relationship, in addition to overseeing deal process
- Mr. Otake founded Otake Global Capital, based in Manhattan, to provide independent cross-border investment advisory services for Japanese, Korean and European clients
- Total capitalization of cross-border transaction which he provided investment adivory is over USD2 billion to date
- Prior to founding Otake Global Capital, he was Senior Vice President of Mitsui Fudosan America, US investment arm of a leading Japanese real estate developer, Mitsui Fudosan where he oversaw Mitsui’s US and European real estate investment portofolio
- Mr. Otake received a Master’s Degrees in Real Estate and City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996 and a Bachelor of Law Degree from Keio University in 1985.
Norito Makimoto(Co-Founder)
- Norito Makimoto is responsible mainly for deal execution, formulating and implementing asset management strategies, coordination of the closing process and overseeing disposition activity in addition to corporate strategic planning
- Previously, Mr. Makimoto was Managing Director, Acquisitions of Asia Pacific Land overseeing their residential investment fund.
- Prior to that, Mr. Makimoto was Chief Investment Officer of daVinci Advisors overseeing its acquisition and asset management departments from 1998 through 2009.
- During that time, he was involved in over ¥1,449 billion of real estate deals in Japan including approximately ¥57 billion of residential transactions. Before joining daVinci, Mr. Makimoto was involved in real estate investment and development for Kajima Corporation, a large Japanese developer and operator in the US, Europe and Kuala Lumpur.
- Mr. Makimoto received a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1995 and a Bachelor of Law Degree from Sophia University in 1987.
